BlackBerry on Tuesday announced that they plan to sell patents, particularly of mobile devices, for approximately up to USD 900 million after the Canadian software company scrapped an earlier deal with Catapult IP Innovations.
According to a report by Reuters, Malikie Innovations will purchase the patents and plans to pay USD 170 million in cash after closing the deal and the rest, USD 30 million after three years.
