Google announced recently the general availability of a new security service from Google Cloud, BeyondCorp Enterprise. It is based on the concept of creating networks with zero trust. Post the SolarWinds attack, Microsoft and Google have started strengthening their Cloud offerings around zero trust.
The new solution, BeyondCorp Enterprise, will replace the earlier BeyondCorp Remote Access. Google announced this service in April, 2020 as a response to the increased remote working model during the pandemic and the increased requirement for VPN apps. One of the key security features for Chrome as part of the BeyondCorp Enterprise includes threat protection for data loss prevention and malware and exfiltration infections to the browser from the network.
