Microsoft has announced that Azure Data Explorer is set to join the Azure analytics mainstream platform. Numerous integrations and performance gains will improve ADX’s latent value and benefit the clients and the organization itself. ADX was traditionally used for analytical solutions as a service and telemetry data lake workloads. The latest integrations, new engines, and other updates will make it run faster than before. All these features will give the lesser-known service a more mainstream appeal.
ADX will be given a new Kusto v3 engine; which helps produce multiple versions of the required query, use the fastest version, and while executing it to compile it to native code.
