AWS introduced AWS Application Composer, a new low-code tool for visually designing and developing serverless applications, at its re:Invent conference.
The service offers developers a visual canvas and a straightforward drag-and-drop interface to help them design their functions, connect their resources, and build the architecture of their applications. Many developers want to start creating serverless applications, but the entry barrier is still too high for many, as AWS CTO Werner Vogels noted in his keynote.

That’s partly because, given that serverless applications are typically asynchronous systems (one of the main topics of Vogels’ keynote today), you have to think about them differently. With Application Composer, the team set out to fix this.
