
The general availability of Amazon Managed Grafana, an observability solution meant to assist organizations to monitor their infrastructure and apps for technical difficulties, was recently announced by Amazon Web Services Inc.
The service is a managed version of the Grafana observability platform, which is open-source. AWS designed it in partnership with Grafana Labs Inc., the open-source platform’s developer, which raised $3 billion in funding last month.
Companies use three forms of troubleshooting data to detect technical flaws in their applications: logs, metrics, and traces. Logs provide particular events, such as a server outage, whereas metrics reflect patterns over time from one week to the next.
