Amazon has announced the general availability of Amazon Kendra, an AI and ML-powered service for enterprise search. The tool uses natural language processing (NLP) to help organizations build a better search engine for their internal documents.

The Kendra models are optimized to understand the language from a range of domains including IT, healthcare, industrial, financial services, legal, human resources, telecommunications, and automotive among others. Additional industry support is slated for the second half of this year. Kendra is also optimized to understand the complex language from specific domains.
