Robotics business Avidbots has revealed that it has secured Series C funding worth USD 70 million USD. With significant contributions from current investors True Ventures, Next 47, SOSV, GGV Capital, BDC Capital, Golden Ventures, and Kensington Capital Partners, Jeneration Capital led the financing.
In the most recent funding round, additional investors BMO Capital Partners, Golden Vision Capital, and Nicola Wealth also participated. Avidbots has now raised a total of USD 107 million USD through financing.
In addition to growing its sales and marketing initiatives to reach more customers in automation growth markets like the United States and around the world, Avidbots has stated that it will use the funding to enhance its autonomy software in addition to expanding its fleet of commercial cleaning robots and add-ons.
