Australian Intelligence Group Plans to Create A Secret Cloud

The national intelligence community (NIC) of Australia is seeking to establish a private community, highly-secure cloud service. The plan is that the cloud service should be capable of protecting sensitive information and data – which is classified to the level of ‘top-secret’. Office of National Intelligence noted that ten NIC agencies would be using this cloud solution.

The country’s peak intelligence agency is leading this project and released a call for expressions of interest recently. It will accelerate its ability to extract and transpose relevant data from complex data sources.

Besides, NIC sees common toolsets for data manipulation as well as filtering to extract relevant information as a force multiplier.
