Atos, the French IT company, has recently confirmed that it has made a new bid approach
for the US rival DXC Technology. This would be the company's biggest-ever acquisition that
could help it access global clients and B2B offerings.
Atos seeks to buy DXC in a "friendly transaction" for creating a digital services powerhouse –
as a global presence. DXC noted that it had received a takeover statement; however, it had
no prior information of any interest from Atos. Thus, it indicated this offer as preliminary,
non-binding, and unsolicited – which its BODs are yet to evaluate.
