The open-source library Testcontainers’ creator, AtomicJar Inc., has revealed that it has raised USD 25 million in fresh funding to increase data support and enhance the shift-left development environment offered by Testcontainers Cloud.
AtomicJar is an integrated testing platform that enables developers to create databases and web frameworks. It was founded in 2021 by the team behind Testcontainers. Through Testcontainers and the Testcontainers Cloud, the platform aims to increase developer productivity, the resilience of the software they create, and the agility of the organizations they work for.
Testcontainers Cloud claims to offer installations in just five minutes and to offer elastic resources that are always available along with consistent test results. The service, according to the provider, eliminates all hardware and software constraints and boosts engineering teams’ productivity.
