Apple and Broadcom Sign Chip-Supply Deal Worth $15 Billion


Apple and Broadcom have entered into a multi-year deal worth $15 billion. Under the deal, chipmaker Broadcom will supply Apple with wireless components used in its products. The three and half year contract begins in January 2020. Under the agreement,  Broadcom will provide its RF components and modules to the iPhone maker. 

The deal was revealed in a new filing with SEC. According to Broadcom two new deals, as well as the rest of the previously disclosed contract, would lead to $15 billion in revenue for the company.
