Advanced Micro Devices Inc. is expanding its product line with an assortment of new processors intended for use in data centers and personal computers.
AMD CEO Lisa Su debuted the processors at the CES 2023 consumer electronics convention in Las Vegas late on Wednesday. The Instinct MI300, an APU (Adaptive Processing Unit) with 146 billion transistors, has been added to AMD’s lineup of data center chips.

In a single package, it combines components from a central processing unit and a graphics processing unit. The chip, according to AMD, is made to run software for Artificial Intelligence and high-performance computing.
