AWS announced S3 service availability for customers to be utilized similarly to operations in a regular AWS region. The Outposts is technically a hybrid IT service. Clients can run storage and compute service, with configurable and fully-managed compute and storage racks embedded into the AWS-created hardware. It allows end-users to deploy workloads on-premises with the same hardware, AWS APIs, tools, and control plane that provides connection to other applications.
All the Outposts are monitored, updated, and managed by AWS similar to the cloud. Customers can now store and retrieve data in S3 APIs identical to how they accessed and used data in a conventional AWS region.
The platform covers e entire enterprise technology space- including emerging technologies like RPA, AI, cloud, automation, and the entire gamut of digital transformation tools, strategies and management decisions.
