As part of an expanded partnership that the companies announced, Amazon.com Inc. intends to significantly expand its use of Stripe Inc.’s payment processing platform.
The public cloud of Amazon Web Services Inc. will see increased use from Stripe. The payments startup already utilizes AWS for a number of internal workloads. Millions of businesses use the well-known payments platform run by San Francisco-based Stripe to process customer purchases.
Along with Amazon, Google LLC, Salesforce Inc., and other significant players in the tech sector are among Stripe’s customers. According to reports, Stripe had 2021 revenue of USD 2.5 billion and was valued at USD 74 billion.
