Amazon Ready to Testify Before the U.S. Congress

Amazon Ready to Testify Before the U.S. Congress Inc. confirmed that its founder Jeff Bezos was willing to testify to the congressional panel investigating potential violations of the U.S. antitrust law by big technology giants.

The big four tech platforms – Apple Inc., Amazon, Alphabet Ink’s Google, and Facebook Inc. – are under strict investigation by the U.S. Justice Department and a House Judiciary Committee panel. The Federal Trade Commission is investigating Amazon and Facebook as well.

Amazon and the committee will have to resolve several questions regarding format, timing, and outstanding document production issues, all of which are necessary to be framed by the extraordinary demands of the global pandemic.
