Amazon.com Inc., an American multinational company focusing on e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence, announced it would lay off another 9,000 roles. As the tech sector gloom deepens, Amazon plans to layoffs workers to get leaner.
According to the resort by Reuter, Amazon has laid off 27,000 positions in recent months, approximately 9% of its workforce. The new layoffs will focus on eliminating resources from the cloud and advertising divisions.
