As part of its efforts to spread the reach of its expanding cloud tentacles across the globe, Amazon has established its second AWS region in India and claims the cloud division will invest more than USD 4.4 billion in the South Asian market by 2030.
The retailer announced the opening of its second cloud region in the nation, an AWS infrastructure region, in Hyderabad. The company will be able to provide “greater choice” in the nation and sustain over 48,000 full-time jobs each year thanks to an additional AWS datacenter cluster, according to Amazon.
