Amazon introduces Eventbridge Pipes, a more user-friendly method of integrating events from various services

Amazon introduced Amazon Eventbridge Pipes at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas as a more convenient way to connect AWS services.

With Amazon EventBridge Pipes, you can easily, consistently, affordably, and reliably integrate supported AWS and self-managed services into your application as event producers and event consumers, according to the company’s blog post announcing the new feature. During his keynote address today, Werner Vogels, the chief technology officer at Amazon, introduced the new feature, claiming that it gives the procedure the ease of pipes.

“So many of our customers who actually want to build these kinds of connections between various services have to write some glue code,” said the representative. According to AWS, Eventbridge Pipes is currently generally accessible across all regions.
