Amazon lawsuit blames U.S. President Donald Trump for the loss of the Joint Enterprise Defence Infrastructure cloud plan of $10 billion. Due to exerting “improper pressure” and bias of Trump, the Department of Defence eventually awarded the lucrative cloud project to Microsoft Corp.
Amazon filed a complaint in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims citing “repeated public and behind-the-scenes attacks to steer” the Pentagon cloud, JEDI, away from AWS.
Amazon Founder, Jeff Bezos has been at the receiving end of Donald Trump, even before he became President. On Monday, Amazon mentioned that it lost the deal due to Trump’s “personal vendetta against Mr. Bezos and the Washington Post.”
