Altruistiq, a London-based startup, revealed today that it has raised £15 million (USD 18 million) in seed capital to assist businesses in achieving their sustainability objectives.
The financing was led by Molten Ventures, with Norrsken VC and other angel investors also participating. Altruistiq, incorporated as Expanding Circle Ltd, debuted in 2021 with a cloud-based technology that promised to assist businesses in reducing their carbon footprint. According to Altruistiq, one of the most distinguishing features of its platform is that it not only measures an organization’s environmental footprint but also identifies improvement opportunities.
As part of its go-to-market initiatives, Altruistiq is focusing on organizations in the retail, food & beverage, logistics, and fashion and textiles industries.
