ALTR has announced the release of a policy automation engine that will enable businesses automate the process of defining and maintaining policies that regulate who has access to what data and how often.
The company is based in Texas and provides a platform for managing Snowflake data access and security ALTR connects directly with Snowflake’s back end as a cloud-native service, preserving all user access points.
The new policy automation engine, which was unveiled at the Snowflake Summit, claims to automatically enforce access controls on sensitive data types (such as emails and social security numbers), as well as data governance standards and security features.
