According to a report by Reuters, Alibaba Group Holding Ltd announced they plan to hire 15,000 resources this year, disregarding rumors recently spreading on Chinese social media that the organization planned to reduce 20% of its workers.
The organization’s official Weibo account post, Alibaba, stated that among the 15,000, nearly 3,000 people would be fresh-graduated students. The company’s cloud division has initiated a round of downsizing which will impact 7% of the staff because it plans to streamline its business in preparation for an IPO.
