According to a report by Reuters, Character.AI has raised USD 150 million in the latest funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
The AI chatbot startup was valued at USD 1 billion and is exploring opportunities with cloud providers for more strategic investment. A billion-dollar valuation for a start up with no revenue is a perfect example of the continued AI funding boom since OpenAI’s ChatGPT gained popularity.
