Advent International, a private equity investor has announced the acquisition of cybersecurity company Forescout Technologies. The acquisition, which is one of the biggest acquisitions of an Israeli-founded company was completed in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.9 billion. Forescout will become a private company with the flexibility to continue investing in the development and deployment of cybersecurity products and solutions.

CEO and President Michael DeCesare will continue to lead the company, and Forescout will continue to be headquartered in San Jose, California. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2020.
