AccessFintech Ltd., a start-up that helps financial institutions share data about transactions with one another, has closed a USD 60 million funding round.
Recently, the company disclosed the Series C round. WestCap, a growth equity company that has previously backed Airbnb Inc. and other significant tech companies, led the investment. BNY Mellon, Bank of America, and several previous investors all invested alongside WestCap.
According to the company, multiple financial institutions, each of which handles a different aspect of the task, frequently handle the burden of processing transactions like stock sales. To coordinate their efforts, financial institutions must share information about the transactions they handle.
