Accenture has announced the acquisition of Symantec’s Cyber Security Services business from Broadcom. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition will help Accenture Security enhance its ability to help companies rapidly anticipate, detect, and respond to cyber threats. The acquisition is expected to be completed by March 2020.
Accenture will be able to offer clients tailored global threat intelligence powered by advanced analytics, automation, and machine learning. Some of Symantec’s portfolio of Cyber Security Services includes global threat monitoring, real-time adversary and industry-specific threat intelligence and incident response services.
