According to a report by Reuters on Wednesday, it got USD 2.6 billion as part of a deal from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for upgrading the government tax agency’s systems.
Accenture Federal Services has got the contract for seven years, and it will have to compete for forthcoming orders to help the IRS with developing new ways for taxpayers and professionals to communicate with the agency.
