Accenture buys data consultancy firm Mudano

Accenture has acquired a UK-based data consultancy firm Mudano. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The firm’s team will join Accenture Applied Intelligence as a result of the acquisition. Mudano uses analytics and applied data science to help banks, insurers, and wealth management firms in the UK to analyze customer behavior and financial crime prevention data.

Mudano’s focus on helping clients build a data culture aligns with Accenture’s Applied Intelligence strategy. Over the past several months, Accenture has acquired other data consultancy firms Clarity Insights, Pragsis Bidoop, and Analytics8.  Earlier in January this year, Accenture acquired Symantec’s Cyber Security Services business from Broadcom.
