Start-up in quantum computing IonQ has announced a new partnership with consulting giant Accenture, demonstrating yet again how technology is moving beyond the lab and into the business strategies of forward-thinking leaders.

IonQ and Accenture will collaborate to help other firms examine how quantum computing can help them enhance their results. With a client list that spans 120 countries and includes more than three-quarters of the Fortune Global 500, Accenture might help push quantum computing into the mainstream. Accenture assists C-suite executives in achieving their digital transformation objectives including the adoption of quantum computing to address several mission-critical business issues in industries.
