Abacus Group, an IT services provider, announced the acquisition of two cybersecurity consulting firms, Gotham Security & GoVanguard, both of which have outstanding track records of excellence in the cyber arena.
The acquisition of Gotham Security will supercharge Abacus Group’s existing service portfolio with comprehensive cybersecurity consulting expertise. The company will buy a complete set of information security capabilities to provide customers with real-world, actionable insight, comprising penetration testing, red teaming, tabletop exercises, risk and compliance gap assessments, and threat-hunting services. Its team will deliver the benefits of Gotham Security, comprised of cybersecurity leaders, researchers, educators, and creators.
Lowenstein Sandler LLP served as legal counsel to Abacus Group, while Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein & Blader, PC. It was done as legal counsel to GoVanguard and Gotham Security on the transaction.
