Podcast Interview with Lawrence Huang,Vice President and Product Management at Cisco Meraki

Lawrence Huang is the Vice President of Product Management for Cisco Meraki, Cisco’s cloud-managed networking and enterprise IoT solutions focused on the digital workplace. Lawrence joined Meraki in 2012 as the first product manager for the Meraki Switch (MS) portfolio, and now leads a team of product management professionals responsible for the entire Meraki portfolio. Meraki’s solutions  help optimize everything for people, places, and things, including wireless, switching, secure SD-WAN, smart cameras, environmental sensors, and endpoint management; all centrally managed in Meraki’s cloud-based dashboard.

Prior to joining Meraki, Lawrence held a variety of roles including as a Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) electrical engineer at startups and Intel Corp. and worked at Cisco as a Product Manager building and launching the company’s first products purpose-built for “Smart Grid” applications. Lawrence is also a co-inventor and holds five U.S. patents for optical communications.
