ZTE Corporation (0763.HK/000063.SZ), a leading global provider of mobile Internet technology solutions for the telecommunications industry, businesses and consumers, has launched its third generation 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 router at Mobile World Congress 2021.
In 2018, ZTE unveiled one of the world’s first 5G routers, the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC801. The company’s second-generation 5G Indoor CPE MC801A was launched in 2019 and won the prestigious If DESIGN AWARD. Currently, the 5G Indoor CPE MC801A is available in over 30 countries in Europe , Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
To meet the growing need for live streaming, the third generation ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 provides high-quality 5G connectivity, tackles network congestion in complex scenarios, meets configuration requirements at the level of the company and offers user-friendly settings to facilitate smart home connection.
Super antenna technology 3.0
ZTE’s latest super antenna 3.0 technology achieves true omnidirectional height and improves 5G signal penetration. The new super antenna increases coverage by 15% and offers 20% faster access speed than the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC801A.
Fast connectivity in complex situations
With the latest commercial grade neural processing unit from Qualcomm ® , the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 offers Wi-Fi 6, 4×4 MIMO and 4KQAM technologies at a maximum speed of 5.4 Gb / s and can serve up to 128 users simultaneously. The router supports essential Wi-Fi 6 technologies like OFDMA, TWT and BSS Color, and uses the computing power of chip-level artificial intelligence, effectively reducing interference and power consumption while respecting the most demanding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for different user profiles connected simultaneously.
Advanced zLink Boost technology automatically converges wireless and wired broadband networks, doubling the upstream and downstream speeds of the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 router to achieve a constant high-speed connection.
One-Touch NFC Connection
Thanks to the new NFC functionality, the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 router can be easily connected to NFC smartphones with just one touch. Connecting TVs, computers and smart devices to the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 router can be automated without changing the Wi-Fi network settings.
Cutting-edge 5G network innovations
With 16 years of mobile Internet experience and nearly 1,000 patents in this field, ZTE has shipped more than 200 million mobile Internet devices worldwide, shipments of chip sets developed by the company having counted for more than 30 million. To date, ZTE’s 5G mobile internet devices have been deployed commercially in more than 30 countries and regions.
The platform covers e entire enterprise technology space- including emerging technologies like RPA, AI, cloud, automation, and the entire gamut of digital transformation tools, strategies and management decisions.
