ZTE launches 3rd generation 5G Indoor CPE MC8020

ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a leading international provider of mobile Internet consumer, enterprise and telecom technology solutions, has introduced its CPE MC8020 generation 5G indoor show at Mobile World Congress 2021.

ZTE previously revealed one of the world’s first 5G routers ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC801 in 2018. The company’s second generation 5G Indoor CPE MC801A was launched in 2019, winning the prestigious iF Design Award. Currently, the 5G Indoor CPE MC801A has been available in more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia , Africa and the Middle East .

  • Supports 5G SA and NSA modes, as well as Sub-6GHz and mmWave spectrum bands.
  • It enables cable and 5G broadband dual path convergence with unique zlink Boost technology, enabling dual gigabit access.
  • It employs the latest AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 access technology, offering 200% faster access speed than the previous generation.
  • It adopts a four-way high-gain omni-directional antenna to provide a high-speed 5G network for up to 128 Wi-Fi users simultaneously.

Super Antenna Technology 3.0

ZTE’s latest 3.0 super antenna technology achieves true omni height to enhance 5G signal penetration. The new super antenna technology offers 15 percent more coverage and 20 percent faster access speed than ZTE’s MC801A indoor 5G CPE.

Fast connectivity for complex scenarios

With the latest enterprise-grade NPU from Qualcomm®, the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 offers Wi-Fi 6, 4×4 MIMO and 4KQAM at a maximum speed of up to 5.4Gbps for up to 128 users simultaneously. It supports key Wi-Fi 6 technologies such as OFDMA, TWT and BSS coloration, and uses the computing power of AI at the chip level, effectively reducing interference and power consumption while meeting the requirements of Higher service level agreements (SLAs) for the various usage profiles connected simultaneously.

zLink Boost

Advanced zLink Boost technology automatically converges wired and wireless broadband networks, doubling the upload and download speeds of the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 for a consistent high-speed connection.

NFC One-Touch connection

With the new NFC functionality, ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 can connect to NFC-enabled smartphones with just one touch. Connecting televisions, computers and smart devices to the ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 can be automated without the need to change Wi-Fi network settings.
