CyberLogitec, a leading provider of terminal operation solutions, announced a new agreement with Santos Brasil , Brazil’s leading terminal operator, to implement the OPUS Terminal platform in its two largest centers located in Santos and Barcarena.
Selected for its characteristics of flexibility and comprehensive terminal planning, OPUS Terminal will help modernize and standardize container operations, representing approximately 16% of Brazilian containerized trade.
With multiple centers operating throughout the country, Santos Brasil faced the challenge of aligning processes in all of these to cover its workforce of more than 3,000 people. OPUS Terminal was chosen because of its wide range of yard, dock and gate processes integrated within the central TOS solution.
The fully comprehensive TOS, along with essential external integrations, give the terminal operator the ability to provide a consistent experience to operators, transportation partners, government agencies, and cargo owners, no matter where they are located.

“CyberLogitec’s OPUS Terminal gives us the opportunity to align the business processes in our two main centers, which until now were served through two separate systems,” said Ricardo Abbruzzini Filho, Director of IT and Innovation at Santos Brasil . “A critical benefit of the CyberLogitec solution is its comprehensive approach to dock and yard operations in a single system, without requiring numerous add-ons.”
OPUS Terminal’s advanced features, ranging from yard planning and management to harbor and dock crane operations, can respond to the growth of the terminals in the coming years.
With CyberLogitec’s proven experience assisting centers with limited space to maximize productivity and efficiency through the advanced features of OPUS Terminal, Santos Brasil identified an opportunity to reduce the requirements to acquire new land to meet growth objectives.
“Our agreement with Santos Brasil is another important step in our growth within Latin America,” said Young Kyu Song , CEO of CyberLogitec. “Despite being headquartered in Asia , the flexibility, comprehensive features and our strong remote deployment strategy mean that fast-growing terminals in the region can benefit from our solution to better serve their customers and partners.”
