NEC Corporation Of America Adds Chris Jackson As CEO

NEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading provider and integrator of advanced computing, communications, networking and biometrics solutions, today announced the appointment of Chris Jackson as CEO of the company, effective April 1, 2023. Previously, he served as President and CEO of NEC Europe, a role he will continue to hold. Chris will be named Senior Vice President of NEC Corporation with dual responsibility for NEC Europe and NEC Corporation of America.

Since joining NEC in 2008, Mr. Jackson has held various leadership positions in sales, business development and operations before being named President and CEO of NEC Europe in April 2020. This new alignment of NEC America and NEC Europe under one President will allow for a closer working relationship between these two important and growing regions.

“I look forward to leading these fantastic teams in both the Americas and Europe and driving social value creation by leveraging our cutting-edge technologies such as biometrics, AI, 5G and provider networks. services,” Mr. Jackson said. “We have a number of international clients with operations in Europe and the United States. This alignment will allow us to better streamline across all regions, making it easier for customers to interact with NEC.”

Mr. Jackson will succeed Masahiro (Mark) Ikeno, who led NEC America’s business since 2017. Mr. Ikeno worked at NEC for more than 35 years and gained extensive experience in sales, global marketing, business development and corporate leadership.
