Mavenir accelerates 5G service construction through its BSS digital support platform-01

Network software provider Mavenir use can run on any cloud connection and change the world of cloud native software to build the future of the network. The company today launched a business support system (BSS) solution called the Mavenir Digital Support (MDE) platform. The MDE platform enables communication service providers (CSP) to quickly and easily build new digital products through a simplified graphical service experience creator. MDE can be deployed as an independent BSS or as an additional layer to the traditional BSS of communication service providers.

The solution uses mature microservices , API first, cloud native, headless (MACH) architecture, consistent with the Open Digital Architecture (ODA) and OpenAPI of the TM Forum . Its low-code/no-code UI supports agile experience creation. Through a unified product catalog, MDE enables communication service providers to easily develop and deploy new services, shortening time to market and profitability. The solution also provides tools for integrating and transforming network usage and non-use data, which can form insights and help provide ultra-personalized services and products through an omni-channel experience.

Mavenir’s unique technology implements a “composable” BSS architecture. Therefore, communication service providers can combine appropriate microservices in the MDE library to design their own BSS solutions. The platform is designed to support the bold innovation of communication service providers, without being constrained by traditional BSS or IT systems that lack flexibility. With this platform, communication service providers can also deploy MDE Marketplace as an additional solution to utilize the existing BSS/IT infrastructure. Specific use cases include:

  • Provide greenfield MNO service
  • Enabling the digital market, bundling CSP services with partner services to form a new source of income
  • Introduce sub-brands in response to digital attacker brands, or use them in a segment of the market
  • Launch a new MVNO service by using MDE BSS as a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE)

The MDE BSS platform can be quickly and easily deployed as an auxiliary solution to launch new business services, such as:

  • 5G FWA/eMBB/AR/VR service
  • IoT services for B2C/B2B/B2B2X customers
  • Connection bundling service for B2B customers
  • Unified communications (UCC) and contact centers for B2B customers
  • Use RCS to provide B2B customers with rich business information sending and receiving

BG Kumar, President of Mavenir Communication Services, said: ” Mavenir’s MDE platform enables communication service providers to fulfill the promise of 5G technology and accelerate the return on 5G investment by eliminating the forever slow process, cost and time barriers in traditional BSS. Through it With open API, MDE can be easily integrated with existing IT or BSS systems, and can be run as an additional solution, so that communication service providers can avoid being stuck with existing suppliers and traditional IT systems. Development restrictions.”

At present, many communication service providers in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the Americas have deployed this solution.
