Tofane Global marks its 6th acquisition in four years, accelerating iBASIS’ Internet of Things (IoT) business growth

Complementing the IoT cellular offering with remotely programmable SIM (eSIM) management capabilities and expanding capabilities for the cellular operator market.

iBASIS , the leading provider of communications solutions to operators and digital players worldwide, announced today that its owner Tofane Global (TOFANE), the leading global communications solutions group, has acquired Simfony , the provider of a Platform-as-a-Service for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE).

The acquisition complements iBASIS’ IoT portfolio by adding a business management layer to the company’s global connectivity offering, creating a complete offering for customers. These will now have access to a feature-rich platform for IoT connectivity management for remotely programmable SIM (eSIM), from online ordering, procurement, product catalogues, device lifecycle control, troubleshooting, online assessment and billing to account profitability.
