HealthJoy Announce Jason Williams as Chief Product Officer-01

HealthJoy, a healthcare navigation platform that connects employees to high-value care, today announced the appointment of Jason Williams as Chief Product Officer.

Williams joins HealthJoy after nearly two decades of leading product management, software development, and account management in healthcare technology.

HealthJoy helps steer members to high quality, low-cost care based on their health and benefits package. As companies add more programs, including virtual care, to these plans, employees experience confusion. HealthJoy integrates these fragmented experiences into a single digital platform to minimize healthcare costs, maximize engagement, reduce HR burden and improve employee wellness. As Chief Product Officer, Williams will lead a global team of product developers toward solutions that simplify being healthy and well.

“Jason is a product leader with incredible insight, expertise, and empathy,” said Justin Holland, CEO of HealthJoy. “His diverse experience in healthcare technology will translate directly to solutions for the customer problems we are trying to solve: helping drive our members to more affordable, high-quality healthcare.”

Williams was a Senior Vice President of Product at UnitedHealth Group’s Optum Digital, where he was directly responsible for Rally Health, the insurer’s digital healthcare engagement solution. Williams also worked as Vice President of Financial Assurance, Analytics and AI at Change Healthcare, and as Vice President, Analytics Products at McKesson RelayHealth. He is a US Army veteran and a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he received both a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Engineering Management.

“Improving the healthcare experience through innovative technical products has been the focus of my career for a couple of decades, and I’m thrilled to continue that work at HealthJoy,” Williams said. “Together, we’ll continue building a team and a product that solves a complex, frustrating and universal experience.”
