Copado, a leading DevOps platform powering the world’s largest digital transformations, today released the results of a commissioned Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) study conducted by Forrester Consulting that focused on the long-term financial and business impact for enterprises using Copado DevOps for Salesforce, which is available on the AppExchange.
According to the study “Total Economic Impact™ of Copado DevOps,” organizations using Copado’s data-driven DevOps platform can achieve $4.5 million in value and an ROI of 307% over three years with payback in less than 6 months.
Forrester Consulting conducted in-depth interviews with Copado customers across different industries. The insights from these interviews were utilized to create a composite organization to present the benefits, costs, and risks associated with an investment in the product.
The results reveal that Copado customers increased deployment speed, improved delivery team capacity, and recorded delivery-to-production quality improvements including a 90% reduction to change fail rate.
Prior to using Copado, the customers deployed SaaS-based applications through manual means such as changesets or by attempting to use traditional script-based DevOps tools. However, this process was labor-intensive, slow, and prone to deployment failures. These limitations led to outages of business applications, challenged the development teams to keep up with business demand, and delayed releases of key updates.
