Clearwater Analytics appoints Colin Clunie as operations manager for EMEA region

Clearwater Analytics, an industry-leading SaaS solution for automated aggregation, reconciliation, billing and reporting of asset data, today announced the appointment of Colin Clunie as operations manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa ( EMEA) announced.

Colin Clunie is based in Edinburgh and previously held a number of senior management positions in the financial services sector. Most recently, as Head of Investment Business at Athora, a European insurance company, he was responsible for developing the investment platform. 

Previously, he was COO, Investment Business at BlackRock, Inc, responsible for leading the global business units that provide investment services and solutions to the company’s global clients. 

Clunie also held senior positions in Risk Management and Internal Audit at BlackRock. Before joining BlackRock, Colin was the director of the Operational Risk division at Standard Life and also held leading positions in internal auditing.

Clunie qualified as an EY Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. He is also a member of the University of Dundee’s Risk Committee and a board member of Rowan Alba , a Scotland-based charity that supports the homeless. Clunie holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Dundee .
