These objectives will not allow them to reduce IT costs but also help to impact the business expenditure and revenue.

Other options for CIOs include migrating fewer users to new software products or delivering fewer features in critical development projects.

Also, for the organizations that are collaborating with their partners, not having the right tools can disrupt their business operations. Hence, CIOs should push for tools that will enable them to keep the operations sustainable while accelerating the training as well as hands-on support for remote employees. 

They should concentrate on basic communication instead of a broad range of collaboration workflows as well as the process of the latest technologies. These methods should not only enable them to safeguard their employees but also enable them to drive adoption of agile principles, helping cross-functional teams to effectively collaborate on cost-saving initiatives.
